Plant Purchases:
1.1 Due to the nature of live plants and the shipping process, we do not offer refunds on plant purchases.
1.2 We encourage our customers to research the specific care requirements of the plants they are interested in purchasing and to consider the potential risks associated with shipping live plants.
1.3 By purchasing plants from Resident | Leaf, the buyer acknowledges and accepts that plants are living organisms that may be affected by various factors during the shipping process, such as temperature fluctuations, handling, and transit time.
1.4 In the event that a plant arrives damaged or dead, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the package. We may request photos of the damaged plant and packaging for our records and to assist with any necessary insurance claims.
1.5 While we do not offer refunds for plant purchases, we will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution, such as providing a replacement plant or store credit, on a case-by-case basis.

Merchandise (Non-Plant Items):
2.1 If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise purchase, we offer refunds for eligible items returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
2.2 To be eligible for a refund, the merchandise must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.
2.3 Shipping charges for returned merchandise are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., receiving a defective or incorrect item).
2.4 To initiate a refund for merchandise, please contact our customer service team at info@residentleaf.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
2.5 Once we receive and inspect the returned merchandise, we will process the refund to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Exceptions:
3.1 Sale items, clearance items, and custom orders are final and not eligible for refunds or exchanges, unless otherwise specified.

Shipping and Handling:
4.1 Shipping fees and handling charges are non-refundable. If a refund is approved for merchandise, the refund will be for the merchandise only, and not for the original shipping costs.
